Dear Recruiter
👋 Thanks for reaching out. I’m always open to hearing about new and exciting opportunities and what amazing things that people are building. I do get a high volume of recruitment emails, and I totally acknowledge and am thankful for how lucky I am to be in that position.
However, this does mean that I don’t have the time to jump on a call with everyone who reaches out. Quite often, there isn’t a fit (one or both ways). So, in the interest of saving us both some time, I’d like to be transparent and make three requests:
- I want to read the job description. I am only considering senior/staff+ roles.
- I need to know the company. I have yet to work with a third-party recruiter. (I’m so sorry!)
- I would like to know the compensation bands before taking up your or any of your teammates’ time for interviews.
Unfortunately, without these data points, I won’t be able to discuss the opportunity further. Thank you so much for understanding, and if we don’t get to connect, best of luck with your search!
Cheers,
Allan
